As a socially conscious business we are delighted to help address critical issues affecting the communities we serve such as education and literacy, and music and art.

  • For a number of years, CCO has been supporting arts in its communities by featuring the work of budding local artists, art councils and cultural events. In 2014, it began participating in Art Everywhere, a North American OOH industry celebration of great American art exhibited on thousands of out of home (OOH) advertising displays across America.   • In January 2019, Clear Channel UK partnered with artist Martin Firrell, to display his new public artworks across our digital Out of Home screens. His work explores the idea of power and gender and is designed to drive public discourse of social value and drive progressiveness. (Read more)
  • In 2019, we supported the Lights on Afterschool’s 20th anniversary campaign by donating some of our most prominent billboard space to illuminate this program. Lights on Afterschool is the only national rally for afterschool programs. (Read more)
  • In 2019, we donated digital billboard space in New York City’s Times Square to highlight winners of the Project Yellow Light scholarship competition. The contest called for students to create a public service announcement to educate their peers about the dangers of texting and driving. (Read more)
