Clear Channel Outdoor Names Ron Cooper Chief Executive Officer
PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCO), today announced that it has named Ron Cooper as Chief Executive Officer of CCO-Americas, effective December 11. He will replace Paul Meyer and report to Mark Mays, CEO of Clear Channel Outdoor.

Before joining Clear Channel Outdoor, Cooper was President and COO at Adelphia Communications Corporation, leading all operational aspects of a successful turn-around and the eventual sale. Prior to joining Adelphia, he served as the COO at AT&T Broadband, improving the operational and financial performance and accessing strategic options for the cable TV and broadband services subsidiary of AT&T. He also held senior positions at RELERA Data Centers & Solutions and at MediaOne.
